Unfortunately as I have seen in the Royal Park Primary school issue I have found personally that writing letters to councillors does not help the constituent as they just pay lip service and only go by their own agenda, the whole of LCC is run is a hap-hazard blinkered way, that treads on the everyday voting public that put them in power, I believe what we need is change.

Further to my previous post, I have now seen evidence in court of the SS deliberatly mis-filing evidence in order to lose it legally, I know this because the kind judge in the case I am in granted a court order allowing all parties to view the SS files, what we found was very alarming to say the least.

Our City council seems to have little idea of what it is doing hence your dilema, the parking all over the grass verges at the edge of the St Anne's NO PARKING area and the hotch-potch that exists. There is no joined up thinking for parking but I think the LCC has just realised that there is a 'knock on' effect.

Perhaps some letters to your councillors will at least get you a visitors parking permit.

Social workers in Leeds are no more than brainwashed operatives doing the bidding of those above them, my personal experience is if they get something wrong, they will not admit it, no, they will actually go out of their way to make you look like the bad one and try and muddy the water as much as possible hiding behind their desks, in meetings and not available when you call, they have forgotten that they are civil servants and are there to serve the public interest and not saving their own skins in a crisis, thereby putting children actually at risk by refusal to act in an appropriate manner.

Some might say go through the corporate complaints procedure, but this is little more than a passification service to appease people by claiming to have taken their concerns on board when in fact they hand the complaint to be dealt with in house by the very people you are complaining about.

The current system employed by Leeds council stinks.

I am helping, as part of the community I am doing my bit by helping out on the website side of things, and would encourage you to get involved if you are reading this, as the community in general are the most friendly bunch of people I have ever met.

Its just a pity it takes a crisis for people to come together.

The strike is now over, yet ironically my bin has not been emptied this week!

Why is it that all social workers that we seem to come across claims that they are 'helping' and yet, we see more and more social workers in the media as being corrupt, who protects us against them?

It has come to my attention that local MP Greg Mulholland for Leeds North West was made aware of the save the Royal Park School campaign weeks ago, unfortunately he has chosen to look down his nose at that the issue, and views the people (his constituents) involved in the campaign with little regard.

Why is this?

Who exactly is he helping?

What use is he to us, the community and constituents in North West Leeds?

If I am wrong or someone knows the answers to the above questions, please contact me and I will stand corrected.

I feel the campaign and his constituents have been left out in the cold.

This is the only area which I receive good service from the council on, apart from the occassional strike, the service is tip top.

Why is it that I live in a permit zone area in Leeds, when my friend, who is disabled comes to visit me, cannot park with his blue badge outside my house? I believe that this is part of the evidence that shows clearly that Leeds City Council is just operating a revenue generating scheme and not dealing with parking issues, as when the rugby or cricket is on there are no traffic wardens to be seen, in this very same area, as I live near the stadium in Headingley.
